Shawlands have revealed what they've got in store for their Christmas lights switch-on.
Southsiders are invited to Shawlands Square on Thursday, November 28 for a free festive bash – and there will be plenty of free activities, market stalls and live entertainment.
Local school choirs will sing Christmas carols and there will also be a special live performance by community band Brass Eye.
They're pulling out all the stops this year, with a giant snow globe, bubble show, balloons modelling and... even a Reindeer Rodeo. (Don't worry, it's not a real reindeer).
Kids can visit Santa in his Grotto for £2 a ticket – so make sure the wee ones bring along their Christmas wish list! Tickets can be purchased here.
