Shawhead School pupils were recognised for their excellence in Scottish country dancing.
The school achieved a gold accreditation from the Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society, having worked through the bronze and silver levels.
To achieve gold the children have to be able to perform a variety of steps and progressions and show a commitment to dance which they did with a daily ceilidh through November and December.
They also performed in public at the Day of Dance and at a community ceilidh.
The school received certificate and all the children received a gold award badge.
