Former Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has labelled Jose Mourinho as the best manager he has worked under.
The former Blues forward spent three years at Stamford Bridge between 2005 and 2008 working under Mourinho.
Wright-Phillips won the Premier League title in 2006 as well as the FA Cup in 2007 under the now-Tottenham head coach and enjoyed some of the best football in his career during that spell.
Given Chelsea's success on the pitch, it's of little surprise to hear Wright-Phillips name Mourinho as the best manager he has worked under.
The Englishman cited the Portuguese coach's ability to develop his way of playing football and his ability to foresee situations which stood him out from the rest.
"He used to be able to dictate situations and it was incredible," Wright-Phillips told talkSPORT.
"It always went the right way, little experiences like that. Sometimes as a player you're taken off but when your manager is like that, what can you say?
"For me, yes (best manager he's worked under). As a player, playing football and teaching me certain ways to play. When I was at (Manchester) City, I was so direct, I never thought about playing one-twos, I just thought about beating a man because I could.
"He opened my mind playing with players like Gudjohnson, Cole, Robben, Lampard.
"It opened my mind to play a different way, to pass the ball because there are other players that can do that and get you involved in the game higher up the pitch."
