Shaun Wallace bites back after The Chase contestant's insult

Shaun Wallace wasn't phased by a Chase contestant's underhand insult, biting back with his own.

Kevin, Ellen Josh and Neha were on today's show, hoping to win as much money as possible.

Up first was Ellen, a housing officer from Worthing.

The 42-year-old told Bradley that she 'loves theatre and drama'.

She said: "I'm part of a drama group for Shakespeare actors, the last drama we did was A Midsummer Night's Dream."

After securing £4000 in the cash builder, it was time for Ellen to face The Chaser.

Asked who she would like to take on, Ellen said: "I think Shaun. Where his gaps are I might have a bit of knowledge."

Bradley was stunned by the comment and so were fans.

Andi tweeted: "It's going to need to be pretty big gaps!"

Thomas said: "Yes!! It's Shaun and his gaps", followed by cry-laughter emojis.

Pan joked: "I’d like to take on Shaun cos he’s the thickest....."

And Joanne said: "Deluded."

When Shaun appeared, Bradley told him what Ellen had said.

But unphased, Shaun responded: "I heard. Forget Midsummer Night's Dream, you're about to have a late afternoon nightmare."
