Shaun Maloney has revealed that Martin O'Neill is out of hospital and "in good form."
Celtic this week confirmed the shock news that their manager in hospital and recovering after undergoing a "minor" procedure.
Assistant manager Maloney took charge of training this morning and then media duties afterwards. He said he went to see the 74-year-old last night after he ws allowed to return home.
“I went to see him last night. It was really positive," he said.
“He got out of hospital yesterday, so yeah, he was in good form last night.

“Loads better than he was Monday and Tuesday. He was in good form."
O'Neill's presence when Celtic face Kilmarnock in Ayrshire on Sunday has not been ruled out.
Maloney added: "No timelines. Even for the game at the weekend, it is sort of day-to-day.
“We saw him last night, with regards to the preparation for the game. He wasn’t in today, so I will speak to him this afternoon, and he will make a call for tomorrow and then I would imagine for the game at the weekend.
"If it is this weekend, great, if it isn’t, we will prepare for it without him. We will let him make the call.”
