Shaun Goater has praised Manchester City's Ferran Torres and has tipped him for an exciting future.
Torres has enjoyed a successful debut campaign at the Etihad Stadium and he caught the eye this summer at Euro 2020 playing for his country.
The Spanish right-winger scored twice in six matches and also registered an assist, leading his nation to the semi-final of the tournament.
But, speaking to FreeSuperTips, Goater insisted that Torres' Spain performances were not as impressive as he had expected, but the City favourite still believes the winger has a bright future ahead of him.
"If I'm honest I don't think he's played as well as he has done at City," Goater said. "But I've been really impressed by him at City. I think he had more in him in the tournament, but it'll be a big season for him."
Goater went onto analyse Torres' ability and tipped him to move to a central striking role in the future.
He added: "He plays well out wide and through the middle, he always makes the right decisions when he plays as a centre forward which is rare to see from a wide player. It shows you the level of his talent and his quality that he can play well in an unnatural position to him.
"It'll be a big year for him, and he'll look to continue to move onto that next level with City, but I'm excited to see his output for next season.
"He's a top finisher and an exciting player who quietly goes about his business, so I'm looking forward to watching him."
