FEROZEPUR: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested five people for pelting stones on Shatabadi Express train near Jalandhar Cantonment railway station on Saturday night.
On getting information of stone pelting on the premium train, RPF Jalandhar City swung into action and rushed towards the area from where it was reported.
Three persons were rounded up for the incident, Ritik Verma, Ragavand and Deepak Kushwaha, and they have confessed to the crime.
Later, two others were also arrested. Due to the above incident,15 window glasses of the train were broken but no injury was caused to any passengers or staff. On interrogation, it was revealed that this incident is the outcome of rivalry between two gangs of Qazimandi.
