'Sharper, faster, more incisive, tougher': Bristol City fans ecstatic with win away at Fulham

Bristol City fans are ecstatic after coming away from Craven Cottage with all three points this afternoon.

The Robins beat Fulham 2-1 thanks to goals from Josh Bronwhill and Famara Diedhiou and survived a period of late pressure from the Cottagers to secure the win.

Aboubakar Kamara's late goal was not enough to inspire a Fulham comeback.

Fulham hit the bar in the final few minutes of the game, but the pressure wasn't enough to get past the impressive centre back pairing of Nathan Baker and Ashley Williams.

The win moves Bristol City up to fourth place, now level on points with Fulham and seven points off the automatic promotion places.

finding it difficult to pick one player who stood out.

See how the fans reacted below.

Daniel Fry:  What a brilliant away performance Bristol City!

Paul Spencer: Unnecessarily nervy at the end but what a bl**dy performance.

Pete Leeworthy: Not like BristolCity to win at Fulham.

Neil: Bristol City may just have a playoff season in them this year.

Gabriel Milland: Didn't sh**house them. Outplayed them. Sharper, faster, more incisive, tougher.

Gregor MacGregor (Our Bristol City reporter): It's happened again. It's happened again! So many great performances today. Thought Diedhiou was outstanding holding up the ball at times, Massengo class, while Eliasson was just pinpoint... But: the two centre-backs were ABSOLUTE rocks.

Toby Osborne: Williams/Baker/Hunt/Rowe so strong & disciplined. HNM/AW/Nagy tireless running & great assist for the latter.

BCFC Oliver the Dog: We just went to the capital and will be bringing back 3 of the finest points of the season- what a team performance.

Dean Allen: Great team effort plus a good performance from the referee under extreme pressure towards the end. Fabulous second goal. 3 points now on Tuesday please!

James: Absolutely outstanding boys what a result.

Jake: Lee Johnson's tricky reds are going up I hear.

Rob Skeates: That is quite simply, phenomenal. Just feel rather a tad emotional as we know the circumstances of this week. We are Bristol City. We are together. We are as one. That was for Benik and his family.
