Sharon Stone stunned fans as she wore nothing but a Basic Instinct t-shirt in her very racy latest Instagram upload.
The actress, 63, shared the sultry snap with her followers which showed her relaxing while rocking a cheeky piece of film merchandise emblazoned with an iconic scene from the 1992 erotic thriller.
In the movie, Sharon played murderess Catherine Tramell, who began a torrid affair with a homicide detective investigating her for the brutal murder of her boyfriend.
The scene on Sharon’s t-shirt was the infamous leg-crossing scene, in which her character exposes herself while being interrogated by the detective, played by Michael Douglas.
And Sharon poked fun at the controversial cinematic moment in her selfie, as she replicated her character’s pose by posing with a pen in her hand, instead of a cigarette.
“Been there, done that, got the T-shirt!” she quipped in the caption.
Earlier this year, Sharon revealed she had slapped Basic Instinct director Paul Verhoeven after watching the movie for the first time, and said she had no idea she would be exposed on camera during the scene.
She told Vanity Fair she didn’t want to remove her underwear, but was assured by the filmmaker that nothing would be visible on screen.
However, Verhoeven was caught out when Sharon watched the film at a screening.
"That was how I saw my vagina-shot for the first time, long after I'd been told, 'We can't see anything – I just need you to remove your panties, as the white is reflecting the light, so we know you have panties on,'" she explained.
"I went to the projection booth, slapped Paul across the face, left, went to my car, and called my lawyer, Marty Singer."
She eventually agreed for the scene to left in the movie, and said Verhoeven was initially reluctant to let her have any creative control over how her body was portrayed in the thriller.
“I was just an actress, just a woman; what choices could I have? But I did have choices. So I thought and thought and I chose to allow this scene in the film. Why? Because it was correct for the film and for the character; and because, after all, I did it," she added.
Back in 2017, Verhoeven denied that Sharon was unaware of what he had in mind for the iconic scene, and said: “Sharon is lying. Any actress knows what she's going to see if you ask her to take off her underwear and point there with the camera."
