Sharon Stone has hit out at Bumble for blocking her account after it was reported as 'fake'.
The 61-year-old Basic Instinct star lashed out at the dating app and begged them not to shut her out after a flurry of reports from bemused users flagged her for not being the real Sharon Stone.
Taking to Twitter , the Hollywood actress revealed: "I went on the @bumble dating sight and they closed my account. Some users reported that it couldn't possibly be me! Hey @bumble , is being me exclusionary ? Don't shut me out of the hive."
She then shared a screenshot from her account, bearing a message from Bumble HQ.
"You've been blocked," it read.
"We're committed to keeping Bumble safe, which means we have to enforce certain rules when our values are violated.
"Your account has been blocked because we've received several reports about your account being fake."
"Haaa! Blocked for being too fake? That's harsh," one follower commented underneath.
Another joked: "hello sharon if youre ever in buffalo and kinda dig fat guys with mustaches my dms are open also own a car so willing to drive (up to 25 miles) even if ya just close by talk to ya soon."
And a third laughed: "Wasnt it faster just to drop a line here on twitter that ur single and take offers."
It comes after Sharon went makeup-free for a post-Christmas outing to a beauty salon in Los Angeles for a massage and manicure.
She looked unrecognisable as she tied her hair back in a messy bun for the low-key outing.
Sharon donned a baggy blue t-shirt, comfy red jogging bottoms and a pair of blue sliders as she headed for her pampering session.
The mum-of-three looked happy and relaxed as she laughed with the beauticians and leaned back with her eyes closed to enjoy her massage.
