Sharon Osbourne blanked The Talk's return episode and won't 'dwell' on the past

Sharon Osbourne reportedly didn't watch The Talk's first episode back since her sensational departure following her backing of Piers Morgan.

The chat show returned to American screens on Monday after nearly a month off air, but Mrs O, 68, seemingly wanted nothing to do with it.

Not only did she step away from her hosting duties, but now she's tuned off from the show all together.

A source told Page Six : "She didn’t watch the show. She doesn’t care. It’s really behind her. That’s not what her life is about.

"She doesn’t dwell on s**t. There’s too many exciting things happening in her life."

The former host left after an on-air feud with Sheryl Underwood in which the pair disagreed over Piers Morgan's Meghan Markle comments.

Sharon and Sheryl have released differing stories since the public falling out with Sheryl claiming the pair haven't spoke - a claim Sharon denies.

Sharon has since shared apparent text messages showing she attempted to contact her former co-host.

In the show's first episode back since the argument, Sheryl revealed she experienced PTSD after the spat, while co-host Elaine Welteroth said Sharon's comments went "off the rails into disrespect".

But it sounds as though Sharon wouldn't have heard any of it - or been bothered if she did.

But, it looks like it's not a simple case of sweeping it under the carpet and moving on for Sharon.

Despite appearing to put the fiasco behind her, she is set to give her first interview since quitting the show.

She is reportedly ready to open up in a televised interview with US TV host Bill Maher on Friday's edition of Real Time with Bill Maher.

The source revealed that she plans to "discuss her ideals" instead of giving a "gossipy" account of what happened as she walked away from The Talk after almost 11 years.

"She’s excited," the source said. "Bill has gone through the same thing she has, where he was fired for being outspoken, so she’s really happy to go on the show with someone she believes will be empathetic."

Bill was released by ABC nearly 20 years ago following his comments about the 9/11 terror attacks.

The Mirror has contacted Sharon's representatives for comment.
