Sharon Corr 'clueless' on how to meet a man as dating has changed since she was last single

Sharon Corr has joked how dating has changed so much since she was last single she’s clueless about how to meet a man.

But the Dundalk musician says she’s “loving” being single and isn’t currently looking for a partner.

“It has been a transition for me to be a single woman, although I’m absolutely loving it, it is wonderful.

"But if you’re with someone for 23 years and then all of a sudden, I mean you don’t know how to do the other thing,” the mum-of-two, whose 18-year-old marriage to Belfast barristar Gavin Bonner ended two years ago, told BBC Radio Manchester.

“Where do you pick up guys? Supermarkets? Where do you do it these days? Not that I was running picking up guys,” laughed Sharon, 51.

“It’s uncharted territory for me, so what I decided to do - you know what, I need to get myself comfortable as a single mother, on my own, before I think about anything else.”

The Corrs’ musician earlier this month released her third solo album, The Fool and The Scorpion.

The title track was inspired by the break-up of her marriage to Bonner.
