Sharna Burgess' family mistakenly thought she was planning her wedding.
The 41-year-old dancer has been engaged to actor Brian Austin Green since 2023, and Sharna's recent social media activity convinced many people, including her own family, that she was planning their wedding.
In a recent Instagram post made at Adare Manor Hotel in Ireland, Sharna said: "It’s my birthday and Father’s Day landed on the same day this year and it’s just dreamy.
"The grounds look like something out of a fairy tale. I was like, ‘Baby, this is the best wedding location ever,’ and he said, ‘Yes it is.’"
Sharna - who has Zane, four, with her fiance - jokingly captioned the post: "Wedding location found."
The dancer later clarified that her wedding planning hasn't progressed very far at all.
She said on the Whine Down podcast: "If at some point we could swing that, then sure, let’s go get married at a damn manor. We haven’t booked a damn manor for our wedding … Suddenly the whole internet thinks I booked a wedding."
Sharna's family were even fooled by the original post.
She shared: "My auntie in Australia left me a voice note and she was like, ‘Sharna, it’s a bit far for all of us to travel' ... We have not yet booked a location for our wedding. We have so much going on."
Meanwhile, Sharna recently revealed that she dated Sasha Farber - years before they appeared on Dancing with the Stars.
The TV star had a brief romance with Sasha during her younger years, and admitted he was much nicer than many other men she's dated.
Sharna told the Penthouse With Peta podcast: "I talk about how I've dated so many a*******. He was not one of them."
Sharna said Sasha came into her life at exactly the right time, when they were both performing in the touring production of Burn The Floor.
She said: "He was always a great guy. And he came into my life at a time when I just really needed to remember how to laugh again. And then there was so much going on in my world in my early 20s."
