Shark Tank India 2 pitcher alleges receiving hate comments online; says she is being called 'greedy' and a 'b**ch

Shark Tank India episode featuring the founders of a hair dye company got the attention of the viewers for more reasons than one. The pitch brought out the competitive and entrepreneurial side of the 'sharks'. While Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta managed to bag the deal, it left Anupam Mittal and Peyush Bansal bitter.

The CEO of the brand Yushika Jolly Linkedin and made public that hate she has been receiving post the episode that aired on Thursday. She revealed how she is being called 'rude', 'manipulative' and 'greedy' among other things, while her husband has been receiving praise 'for his excellent negotiating skills'.

Yashika went on to defend the decision she made with her husband and wrote, "After we chose not to accept Peyush's offer of 1% (a tough decision), a lot of people questioned that decision. As a founder, I’d like to believe I know my business better than any keyboard warrior. We decided to go with Aman and Vineeta for 2% at that time since we thought they were better suited to our needs. We could have chosen Peyush if we were truly that "greedy"."

Not just this Yashika also clarified why she didn't join her family business and chose to create a brand of her own.

However, the good bit is that after the episode their business of hair dyes has grown exponentially. Yashika added, "Our sales have almost doubled on our website and in a few specific marketplaces. Our website has seen a 20x spike in traffic. Numerous distributors and detailers have contacted us. In the last two days, our Instagram has gained more than 9k followers."

She continued, "On a personal level, I have received over 3,000 LinkedIn requests, and my number of followers on this site has grown from 1,000 to 6,000+. All in all, I believe that being on Shark Tank will change the game for us and cause you to see us much more frequently moving forward."
