Today is International Dog Day and a great chance to demonstrate our love for man's furry friend - particularly when, for so many people, they have been a constant source of comfort during the pandemic.
We'd go so far as to bet that there are plenty of pictures of your dog stored on your phone and today is the one day of the year that you can unashamedly show them off.
Local news, information and community platform InYourArea wants you to post a picture of your pooch on the platform's Live Feed using the hashtag #InternationalDogDay. Tell them a little about your four-legged friend - how have they helped you during lockdown? What's the story behind the photo? Or more simply, just their name and age.
