Share your memories and pictures of the Trans-Siberian railway

To mark the 100th anniversary of the completion of the Trans-Siberian railway we’d like to see pictures of your journeys through the years.

Whether you’ve gone the whole distance from Moscow to Vladivostock in the east or took the trans-Mongolian route through to Ulaanbaatar and Beijing, we’d like to hear from you. You might have pictures of the engines themselves, the people you met while travelling, or perhaps of sights on the way such as Lake Baikal (and its smoked omul fish) near Irkutsk in Siberia.

Did you travel in luxury or share a coach with strangers? Maybe you made great friends on your trip? Perhaps you are or were a local to one of the communities it served and commuted cross-country on the service? Whichever it is, send us your pictures and we’ll compile some of your most interesting memories for a gallery on the Guardian.
