Care home residents in England will be allowed to receive two regular visitors from Monday 12 April, as part of a wider easing of coronavirus restrictions, Boris Johnson is to announce.

At present, only one named visitor is currently permitted.

Under the new guidance, set to be published next week, babies and children under the age of two will be excluded from the limit. This will allow elderly residents to meet new grandchildren or great-grandchildren.

We’d like to speak to care home staff, residents and their families about their experience of the coronavirus pandemic, and hear their reactions to the latest news.
