In sickness and in health ... more and more of us are relying on our partners for support and care when we become sick, with the number of full time unpaid carers rising. But caring can put a strain on the most loving of relationships. So we’d like to hear about your experiences of care in a long term partnership or marriage: who does it, who doesn’t, and what happens when you hit a rough patch healthwise and your partner isn’t able or willing to support you.
For instance, are you facing serious health issues, and secretly worried about how your partner is going to react to the realities of caring for you? Or perhaps you have experienced a relationship breakup after a serious diagnosis? Or perhaps you’re the carer, and would like to talk to us in confidence about how that affected your relationship.
