L Plate - learner driver sign on the rear of a blue saloon car

After failing the theory test 59 times, a learner driver has taken the record for the most attempts ever made in the UK for passing on their 60th go. According to the AA Driving School, the person spent £1,380 and took 60 hours.

How many times did it take you to pass your theory test? Did you find it easier or harder to pass your practical test? We’d like to hear your experience of taking your driving tests.
