New research by academics at Manchester Metropolitan University have found women with endometriosis are “fobbed off” when seeking NHS treatment for the condition.
Women said they felt “gaslit” by doctors when raising their symptoms with them. More than 1.5 million women in the UK are affected by the painful condition with some giving up seeking treatment due to their experiences.
If you have endometriosis we want to hear from you. How long have you lived with it and what impact has it had on your life? What has your experience been like trying to get diagnosed and treated?
