Share your election posters, leaflets and campaign experiences

It’s general election season, which means posters and leaflets. Lots of them.

While candidates may be canvassing on Twitter and Facebook, old methods die hard, and political parties across the country will be out on the doorstep armed with leaflets and posters aplenty.

We’d like to get an idea of how your local candidates are targeting you by seeing and hearing your stories from the campaign. Share pictures, videos and stories of the leaflets, posters, campaigning and advertising that you’re seeing by clicking on the blue ‘Contribute’ button on this article.

Add details of when and where this is happening to help us build a picture of how voters are being talked to across the UK.

You can also use the GuardianWitness smartphone app to take part or the Guardian app, where you should search for ‘GuardianWitness assignments’.

We’ll publish the the most interesting contributions on the Guardian site.

  • GuardianWitness is the home of user-generated content on the Guardian. Contribute your video, pictures and stories, and browse news, reviews and creations submitted by others. Posts will be reviewed prior to publication on GuardianWitness, and the best pieces will feature on the Guardian site.
