I am not sure if I want to go darker to add contrast. Someone told me the cat was too black, but it's a black cat, after all. I also find it tedious to try and make the resemblance of someone you know well. It's the search for the person you know, not necessarily the person you see. I have redone the face a couple of times, and now I am letting it rest.
