The indoor ice rink at Share Discovery Village in Lisnaskea will open for additional dates due to popular demand.
More than 7,000 people have visited the attraction so far since it opened in October, leading the organisation to open the synthetic rink for more dates between Christmas and the New Year.
The ice rink will now be open between 20 and 23 December, as well as between 28 and 30 December.
The Co Fermanagh activity centre first opened the rink in late October, where local representatives and Share volunteers attended the official launch.
Share Discovery Village CEO Darragh Collins said the organisation has been blown away by the response so far.
“When we started to plan for Share Village on Ice we had very high hopes and expectations. We had a clear vision for what we wanted to create,” Darragh said.
“I cannot believe how far we have exceeded these, both in terms of the numbers of people who have come to the rink and how amazing the whole place looks.
“We are delighted to announce that due to huge demand we can offer Share Village on Ice up to and after Christmas.
Darragh added that the extra dates were added due to repeated requests coming in from the public.
“We have had so many enquiries for the week between Christmas and the New Year and it is great to have been able to respond positively to these.
“We hope people will avail of these last few sessions and that we can finish 2021 on a high.”
