Sharad Kelkar recently remembered late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as he spoke about TV actors making their transition from the small screen to the big screen. According to him, SSR set an example for everyone.
In an interview with a news portal, Sharad said that Sushant did some excellent work in both television and films. According to Kelkar, SSR was one of the finest talents we had in the industry. Sharad added that Sushant was passionate about proving himself as an actor. He showed everyone how a TV actor could transition into films and that he set an example for everyone.
Sharad also recalled that when he worked in television, his set was right next door to Sushant’s set and they would meet up sometimes. According to him, he was a sweet boy and had that spark. Sharad added that Sushant always wanted to do something different, something great, and he achieved that.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 under mysterious circumstances. He last appeared in Mukesh Chhabra’s ‘Dil Bechara’, co-starring Sanjana Sanghi.
