Shaquille O’Neal immediately reminded Charles Barkley that he doesn’t have any rings

The NBA season is finally back.

It’s been a long four months with the entire landscape of the NBA going through a major overhaul. But we survived, and basketball is here.

That also means that the best pregame show in the business is back with TNT’s Inside the NBA taking the opening broadcast to Los Angeles for Tuesday’s Lakers-Clippers game.

And as expected, Shaquille O’Neal’s trash talk with Charles Barkley was in midseason form.

Once Barkley tried to get in a jab at Shaq about needing Kobe and Dwyane Wade to win titles, Shaq went to his go-to comeback that honestly wins this argument with Barkley every single time.

Shaq showed Barkley one of his NBA championship rings and said, “At least I got one of these.” Barkley, of course, never won a title during his NBA career.

Barkley walked right into that one, and he’ll probably do the same thing a dozen times this season.

We’re glad you’re back, basketball.
