With the coronavirus outbreak forcing us to limit the size of gatherings, many students of all ages across the country have transitioned to online learning. First graders from East Lake Elementary in McDonough, Georgia, received a massive surprise this week when NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal popped into their online class.
According to a report from TMZ, O’Neal is friends with the family of a student in the class, so he decided to hop online to spread a bit of joy during a very uncertain time.When O’Neal appeared on the screen, the teacher excitedly asked “is that Shaq?!” Per TMZ, Shaq stayed on the call for a few minutes to say hello to everyone.
