The 2021 Love Island season is in full swing with creators of the show already shocking fans, with the first dumping just 48 hours in.
Shannon Singh saw her time come to an early close after Chloe Burrows decided to couple up with Aaron Francis, leaving the Scottish model single and therefore removed from the villa.
Viewers of the show have been quick to question the extremely fast first exit and have taken to Twitter to dissect the situation.
Many have popped on their detective hats and are publishing their theories about whether or not Singh will make a comeback.
Although spokespeople for the show have been adamant in saying the 22-year-old is not returning at any point this season, it hasn’t stopped the conspiracy theories flooding in.
The main theory people are running with is whether or not she had been active on Instagram since being dumped from the island.
Ex-contestant Amy Hart took to social media to weigh in and said Shannon would be getting her phone back within 24 hours, and so if she is not active on social media she has likely been sent to another house.
She wrote: "Shannon will get her phone back tomorrow…so if she’s not on her insta in the next few days she’s obvs in another villa."
Fans jumped on the theory with one writing; "Stalking Shannon’s Instagram to see if she posts anything coz if she doesn’t that means…..SHE WILL BE BACK."
Another agreed and said: "If she was out out she'd have her phone back straight already especially as it's filmed a day in advance at least.
"She is defo coming back in some way."
Casa Amor
Other fans believe the 22-year-old may make her return for the annual Casa Amor chaos, which tests which coupled up contestants will get their heads turned by some new bombshells.
One viewer wrote: “Prayer circle that Shannon is brought back as a twist in Casa Amor. I refuse to believe that she's gone for good”
Another said: “Waiting for Shannon to show up at Casa Amor so the show can actually be worth watching again.”
It seems as though Singh would be up for heading back into the villa if the chance came her way.
In an interview following her exit, she was asked if she would return if given the opportunity, and the Scottish beauty said she absolutely would.
