Police have attended two crashes in West Belfast, with a female pedestrian being hospitalised.
Both incidents happened on Wednesday morning, October 6, on the Shankill Road.
The pedestrian was involved in one collision which involved a vehicle shortly before 9am.
The other crash that occurred on the same road happened at around 8.45am, involving a car and a bus.
Regarding the crash involving the pedestrian and a vehicle, PSNI Sergeant Carey said: " Police attended a report of a road traffic collision in the Shankill Road area of Belfast, between a vehicle and a female pedestrian, shortly before 9am this morning (Wednesday 6th October).
"Police and our colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended and the female was transferred to hospital for treatment to her injuries.
“Our enquiries into this incident are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage which may assist our investigation to contact the non emergency 101 number quoting reference 335 06/10/21.”A report can also be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ "
Referring to the crash involving the bus, a spokesperson added: "Police attended a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bus at around 8.45am in the Shankill Road area of Belfast today (Wednesday 6th October). There are no serious injuries reported at this stage.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or has dash cam footage, is asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference number 313 of 06/10/21."
