Shania Twain shows love for 'hilarious' Lewis Capaldi tribute to 90s hit

Brad Pitt might not have impressed her much, but it turns out Lewis Capaldi does.

And in these troubling times, it's a much welcomed heartwarming distraction to see global icon Shania Twain react with joy to our own Scots superstar's tribute to one of her greatest hits.

The Someone You Loved singer gave the pop legend a shout out in his inimitable style, miming to her 90s classic You're Still The One in front of a city skyline.

Hilariously, the Bathgate-born crooner looks forlornly into the camera, singing the words like he truly believes them.

That's in the spirit of many a Scot clutching a bottle of Hooch on a dancefloor in 1999, if you ask us, which makes it even funnier to watch.

And the best bit is, the Canadian songstress spotted the double Brit Award winner's video, loved it and shared it on her own Twitter page - much to the delight of all their fans.

The 54-year-old said: "This is hilarious!"

And what else could Lewis have replied to that than, "Looks like we made it", which is a direct quote from the song.

Co-written by Shania and ex husband Mutt Lange, the hit was the third single from her epic Come on Over album which was released in 1997, reached the top ten globally and was the former country star's fist pop crossover.

So we're waiting with baited breath now to see if this will result in a collaboration anytime soon? Or even a transatlantic duet from both their sofas?
