This Morning frequently features odd segments and with the news filled with coronavirus updates, the ITV daytime show has sought unusual ways to cheer up the nation.
In a bid to raise the spirits of her UK fans, country singer Shania Twain sent a video recording into This Morning of her singing Man! I Feel Like a Woman – joined by her horse and her dog.
While 54-year-old’s horse seemed to particularly enjoy Twain’s musical interlude, viewers at home had more of a mixed response.
Some viewers were thrilled to have a bit of Shania to brighten up their Monday morning:
But others just found the whole experience a little strange:
This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were also confused about the video, with the pair having one of their signature giggling fits after the segment.
The daytime show is one of the very few live shows still broadcasting during the coronavirus crisis, with its presenters adhering to social distancing and running with a skeleton crew.
All interviews are now being done on video links – with varying degrees of success.
