Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings was a tremendous success, with critics and Marvel fans embracing the film in a big way. The movie introduced a handful of new characters, including Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Xialing (Meng’er Zhang), Xu Wenwu (Tony Chiu-Wai Leung), Katy (Awkwafina) and Ying Nan (Michelle Yeoh).
The movie seemed to perfectly blend the martial arts film genre into the MCU with an explosive and colorful cinematic experience. It was a true delight and a proper celebration of an Asian superhero.
