Shane Ryan predicts dramatic Croke Park shoot-out in All-Ireland final

Shane Ryan predicts a dramatic shoot-out at Croke Park tomorrow that could rival the excitement of the Dublin-Mayo finals of recent years.

The former Dubs ace believes those lucky enough to be present and those watching on TV will be treated to a showcase of the best attacking players in the modern game as Kerry try to prevent the Blues making history by completing their five-in-a-row bid.

"Unarguably Dublin and Kerry have the two best forward lines in the country," said Ryan.

"I'd never say I'm over-confident of Dublin winning, despite what they've achieved over the last number of years.

"I'd always be wary of Mayo, because they've come so close to Dublin, but we saw what happened in the All-Ireland semi-final. But the number one team to be wary of is Kerry - they're not called cute Kerrymen for nothing.

"Peter Keane will have something up his sleeve. I hope and expect them to have something, and it will make it such an exciting final.

"The finals against Mayo brought off the wall excitement. I wouldn't be surprised to see something similar now.

"It could end up being a shoot-out between two good forward lines. I think it will be very close, I still tip Dublin but they'll have to produce their best performance of the year to win."
