Shane Richie’s son is a nervous wreck watching the show – waiting for his dad to crack rude jokes about his mum and the Nolans.
Shane Jr, whose mother is Loose Women favourite Coleen, says he’s terrified he will blurt out something non-PC in the castle.
“My parents wear their heart on their sleeves,” said singer Shane Jr. “They say stuff without thinking.
“I get nervous about what my dad might say.
"At the end of the day, he’s a 90s comic.

"What they used to be able to get away with, the sexist comments, you can’t say that stuff.
"Not that he means it or believes it.
"But you just can’t say, ‘You all right love? What are you wearing?’ It’ll rub someone up the wrong way.”
Shane Jr, 31, says the butt of his dad’s jokes are often his mum and the Nolan sisters.
“When he went into the tunnel with the rats I was fully expecting him to come out with something like, ‘It’s like being back with the Nolans’,” he said.
“I think he’s stopped himself with gags. I could see it in his face.”
Shane, 56, was married to Coleen, 55, for nine years in the 90s and had sons Shane and Jake, 28.
They had a turbulent relationship, plagued by Shane’s cheating.
In his autobiography Rags to Richie, he admitted to a drink-fuelled threesome with two backpackers while also juggling relationships with Coleen and a dancer.
But Shane Jr says he holds no grudges towards his dad and says he’s a different person now.
“He split with my mum 22 years ago.
"He put our family through that and he’s come out the other side as a better man.
"It was upsetting at the time but it was a long time ago.
"If something came out now about him being a b****** I couldn’t defend him.
“I think he put on hold going on a reality show because of what he’d done previously.
"People come out of the woodwork.
"But he put it out there himself.
"Everyone knows his business and it’s great to see he’s changed and I hope the public sees it.”
Shane has three other children with second wife Christie, who he married in 2007.
“Seeing the growth in him is unbelievable,” says Shane Jr. “When I see him with my little brother and sisters, he’s the dad he should’ve always been.
"He was always great but we didn’t see him as much as we’d like.
“My dad was 23 when he had me, eight years younger than I am.
"And I still make mistakes. It wasn’t the best what happened with him and Mum.
"But without those mistakes I wouldn’t have my brothers or sisters.
"We’re all seeing the benefits now. He’s learned and grown up.”
And he hopes his dad learns even more doing dunny duty in the castle.
“That’s a trial he will fail. He can’t deal with s***. I don’t think he ever changed our nappies growing up.”
