Shane Nolan's ITV Loose Women appearance prompts criticism

Loose Women fans have hit out at the ITV show after Shane Nolan's appearance on the show. Shane, Coleen Nolan's son, appeared on the panel next to his mum.

It comes after he married this weekend. But fans watching the programme, which aired from 12.30pm on Wednesday, July 13, on ITV1, were left critical.

Danny asked: "#LooseWomen why is Shane Nolan on really? Nobody cares about this ridiculous nepotism." Jen said: "So we had a fashion show on Loosewomen about what Coleen would wear to Shane’s wedding then we had Hen photos of said wedding then actual wedding photos and today we had the groom on to talk about wedding, nobody cares, still Shane got to promote the new show he's in."

"Is the show about Coleen or Shane either way it's nauseating #LooseWomen," Brian agreed. Felix said: "Complete nepotism with Shane Nolan on #LooseWomen. Let’s talk about things that MATTER. You all talk about cost of living but talk about expensive weddings and pathetic things.."

During his appearance, Shane Jr joined the Loose Women panellists to discuss his wedding day. The 33-year-old said the day was the best of his life but Coleen was quick to note it was a bit of an uphill battle. She said: "Nothing was organised.

"I'd say 'So what's happening with this' and he'd go 'I don't know.' He must be the most laid-back person ever and I asked if they had their vows done and they said 'no'."

Shane said of his wedding speech: "That was actually my biggest worry. I cry at literally everything but there's a moment [Maddie] walks through and she took my breath away. My goddaughters walked down so I was already on the verge so when she walked down... I cry at everything and I was concerned I couldn't stop."
