Former Celtic loanee Shane Duffy is set to return to Glasgow later this month as Brighton face off against Rangers.
The defender struggled for form last season while on loan from the Seagulls and struggled to hold down a regular starting place.
The 29-year-old lost his spot in the team to Lennoxtown academy graduate Stephen Welsh after several costly errors.
Duffy was eventually shipped back to the English Premier League strugglers early last term as Steven Gerrard's men cruised to an unbeaten Premiership campaign.
He endured a tough time against the champions losing on every derby day he featured in and suffered a defeat at Ibrox when he appeared off the bench.
However, the former Ireland skipper will now be looking to shake off his Celtic memories of last season in Govan on July 24.
He will be looking to impress and earn a chance under Graham Potter ahead of the next English top flight season after his form north of the border.
The game will be a 5.30pm kick-off just a week before the league season kicks off again.
