Determined Shane Duffy believes he has the right mentality to end his Celtic loan stay with a rousing finale.
The 28-year-old has endured a torrid spell in Glasgow during his season-long loan from Brighton with a host of high profile errors costing his team in the Premiership and abroad.
It's a far cry to the excitement that followed his arrival in August with many fans tipping him to help deliver 10 In A Row to Parkhead.
But Duffy admits he is hell-bent on proving the naysayers wrong as the former Everton star opened up on the Bred A Blue podcast about his time with Celtic.
He said: "If you asked me 10 years ago I probably wouldn’t have believed the career I’ve gone on and had.
"I’m proud of myself for digging in there, especially when a lot of people doubt you.
"The satisfaction of going to prove people wrong is good so I’m happy, I still feel I have a lot more in me to go and prove people wrong again.
"I’ve had a bit of a sticky patch at the minute which happens a lot of footballers.
"I feel I have the right mentality to get through it and as I said, I want to prove people wrong again and go and kick on again."
