Shane Duffy has described his move to Celtic as a "huge honour" after his season-long loan was confirmed by the Scottish Champions.
The 28-year-old defender arrives in Glasgow on a temporary deal from English Premier League side Brighton.
Neil Lennon's mean overcame stiff opposition from other top flight English clubs to land his signature, and Duffy's "love" for the Parkhead side made things a whole lot easier.
Duffy told the Celtic club website: “I really am delighted to sign this deal with Celtic. It is a huge honour for me to join Celtic, such a huge institution and a brilliant football club that I have always loved and admired
“It will be a fantastic personal moment for me when I pull on the Celtic jersey. It’s just a great feeling – I could not be happier to be part of the Club now and I just can’t wait to start working with the Manager, the staff and the players when I return from International duty with Ireland.
“We will be challenging on a lot of fronts this season and I am really excited about getting going, as we try and bring the fans more and more success.”

The centre back will join up with his new Celtic teammates after he returns from international duty with the Republic of Ireland. Ireland face Bulgaria and Finland in their upcoming Nations League double header.
In addition to Brighton, Duffy has also played in England for Everton and Blackburn Rovers.
