Even before her Bollywood debut, Shanaya Kapoor is in demand. She is certainly the new fashionista on the block and designer labels are already excited to work with her. She is now the face of Label Ritu Kumar.
Talking about the association, Amrish Kumar, managing and creative director at Ritu Kumar said, “Shanaya’s bold, joyful spirit is infectious on the screen. She has a great sense of style and being a natural dancer, she was the ideal face for our label.”
In a series of pictures she can be seen wearing a floral printed velvet dress with a floral printed velvet crop jacket. In another look she can be seen wearing a floral printed velvet dress with a studded tie-up waist belt. And there is a sequined dress which looks too hot to trot.
Shanaya is also excited about the new photoshoot for Ritu Kumar. She said, “This brand is the epitome of being spontaneous and stylish mixed with a little fun and embraces my edgy yet carefree vibe extremely well. It’s all about being comfortable in your own skin and that’s what I believe in most. I’m very grateful and super excited to be the face for the brand!”
The collection is replete with diaphanous lace, cut-work and florals in cosy fabrics like suede, jacquard and knits. The rich color palette presents a new take on deep blues and greens along with warm tones of rose, mustard and yellow. Perfect for the party season there are velvet and sequin structured dresses, both alluring yet edgy.
The collection also has printed puffers, cute pullovers, and textured stoles and scarves that are perfect to keep you warm during the long winter months.
