Shamrock Rovers to host Finnish side Ilves Tampere as Bohemians and Derry face away trips after Europa League draw

The three League of Ireland clubs in this year's Europa League have found out their opponents for the first qualifying round.

And Shamrock Rovers will be the happier of the contingent after they were handed a home tie for the crucial qualifier.

The Hoops will host Finnish side Ilves Tampere, with Tallaght Stadium the likely venue if restrictions don't see it moved to a neutral venue.

Meanwhile, Bohemians' return to Europe will see them hit the road to Hungary as Keith Long's side can prepare for a clash against domestic heavyweights Fehérvár.

And the Candystripes can also look forward to jetting off to Lithuania, Declan Devine's men will face Riteriai.

The games are penned to take place on August 27, with the draw for the second qualifying round billed for August 31.
