Shamrock Rovers to complete Rory Gaffney capture before Waterford clash

Rory Gaffney will be at the RSC tomorrow night to see Shamrock Rovers face Waterford.

But the new Hoops striker won’t be available to play as he has yet to complete his medical.

His capture from Salford City won’t be announced by the club until that box is ticked but confirmation is expected tomorrow ahead of kick-off.

Ex-Limerick frontman Gaffney, 30, was a long-time target for Rovers and arrives following spells with Salford, Walsall (loan), Bristol Rovers and Cambridge United.
