Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley and Leinster coach Leo Cullen nominated for RTE manager of the year

Dubliners Stephen Bradley and Leo Cullen have been named in the shortlist of ten for manager of the year at this year's RTÉ Sports Awards.

Shamrock Rovers boss Bradley has been nominated for the second year in a row after guiding the Hoops to back-to-back league titles.

36-year-old Bradley saw his side top the final league table by 16 points from FAI Cup winners St Patrick's Athletic - just three points short of Bohemians' record set in 2008.

Leinster rugby head coach Cullen has also been recognised after leading the province to their fourth consecutive United Rugby Championship (formerly the Pro 14).

The blue province cruised past foes Munster in the final at the RDS but were eliminated in the semi-final of the Rugby Champions Cup away to Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle.

Also nominated is Meath football coach Eamonn Murray, who will be among the favourites for the award after guiding the Royal County to a shock All-Ireland final win over Dublin.

Limerick hurling coach John Kiely is also heavily tipped to retain the gong for a second year after taking the Treaty County to a record-breaking All-Ireland final win over Cork.

Irish-Georgian Zaur Antia is nominated after Ireland took home another two Olympic medals from Tokyo in the summer, Kellie Harrington taking gold and Aidan Walsh bronze.

Cycling coach Neill Delahaye is also up for the award after coaching the Irish Paralympic team to four medals at the summer games in Tokyo.

Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal won two golds and a silver under the Meathman, while Gary O'Reilly picked up silver in the H5 time trial.

Waterford native Henry de Bromhead is nominated after becoming the first trainer to win the Champion Hurdle, the Champion Chase and the Gold Cup in one year at Cheltenham.

Brian Dooher and Feargal Logan are nominated as a duo after becoming the first joint-managers to win the All-Ireland football title when Tyrone outfought Kerry.

Dominic Casey has been recognised for helping Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy to Olympic lightweight rowing gold.

And Galway camogie manager Cathal Murray completes the field having led his side to O'Duffy Cup glory for the second time in three years with a win over Cork.
