Shamrock Rovers are anxiously waiting to find out whether they can still fly to play Paris Saint-Germain in a glamour friendly.
The Hoops are due to face the French champions at the Parc des Princes in Paris on July 17 but the Government has declared non-essential travel is now not advised before July 20.
There is also the obstacle of the squad – which is leading the way in the League of Ireland Premier Division ahead of the planned restart on July 31 – having to self-isolate for 14 days on their return if they do make the trip to play Neymar and Co.
Rovers have made enquiries as to whether Covid-19 testing would change the situation regarding quarantine.
