Shamrock Rovers fell to defeat at Tallaght Stadium but put in a solid performance against a star-studded AC Milan side.

Dovetailed well with Lopes in keeping Zlatan mostly under wraps.

Will know he should have done better with a headed chance before half-time. Battled hard.

Superb goal-line clearance with score at 1-0 was the highlight of a hesitant midfield display.

Silky in possession when Rovers are dominating games, found it hard to find his rhythm here.

Brilliant run and defence-splitting pass showcased the best of Byrne in front of Stephen Kenny.
