A video has surfaced on social media of inmates laughing and joking from inside a West Lothian prison cell.
The TikTok clip, which has received over 10,000 views since it was uploaded earlier this month from HMP Addiewell shows several inmates in the cell while one performs part of a rap song.
It is currently unknown who the individuals in the clip are, but surrounded by the group are electronic items such as a monitor and games console, with plenty of provisions on top and underneath a table.

Raising concerns about the use of mobile devices and social media behind bars, the video has made its way onto the fast-growing platform since being uploaded on May 6, 2023.
While one member of the group pans the phone around the cell, several inmates take it in turns to pose for the camera and starts belting out several bars of a rap song.
Just weeks ago, the BBC reported how a recent report into conditions inside the prison revealed less than a third of inmates feel safe - with 40 percent claiming to have been assaulted or abused by staff.
The jail, which opened in 2008, currently houses around 700 male prisoners including long-term and short-term prisoners as well as remand and protection prisoners.
As well as concerns over the safety of prisoners, poor levels of cleanliness were found in residential blocks and access to healthcare was also rated as poor, with patient outcomes being compromised as a result of long waiting times.
A spokesperson for HMP Addiewell said: “The use of mobile phones in any prison is illegal, and we constantly review our activity to tackle the issue. Where individual prisoners are identified, action is taken.”
