Shameless prisoners showed off their Sunday dinner in illegal footage taken inside a jail dubbed ' HMP Toby Carvery '.
Inmates in the video, which was captured by a Liverpudlian inmate, can be heard talking in the background as the camera pans across a trolley of hot plates.
At the beginning of the clip, which was taken at an unknown jail, a man with a Scouse accent can be heard saying " HMP Toby Carvery , s***hole" as he quickly shows the grub on offer.
As another prisoner laughs in the background, the cameraman then describes each tray and mocks some of the items that have been cooked by other lags.
Speaking about a large pile of what appeared to be chicken legs, he said:
"You've got pigeon here, you've got jock spud, bit of onion gravy , Yorkshire pudding and... dog food."
The video also shows a vegetarian option of vegetable curry and rice.
While it's not clear where the footage was taken but the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said it is not believed to have been recorded inside HMP Liverpool.
Illegal footage taken inside prisons is becoming more and more common as inmates find new ways to smuggle phones into their cells.
A few months ago, prisoners from Liverpool were seen and heard in a number of clips taken at jails around the country, which showed other inmates on drugs, a pigeon that had allegedly been spiked with spice, and videos which showed vulnerable men being abused and attacked.
The MoJ has previously said it "will never tolerate" mobile phones behind bars and has invested £100m in prison security to stop drugs, weapons, and phones from entering jails.
