Shameless actress Tina Malone says she now looks 40 years old after she gave up alcohol.
The 60-year-old is best known for playing the iconic Mimi Maguire in the British sitcom from 2005 until 2013.
And ten years on from the end of the series, Tina opened up about turning 60 and said she's 'feeling sexy' about herself, writes The Mirror. After her birthday in January, Tina said: "I’m so proud of being 60, it’s a ripe old age and I look 40!"
"People always say ‘you can’t be 60,’ I love telling people. I feel the best I ever have – and I think I probably feel the sexiest I have in my life too."
She told Closer that her 'age is a privilege' and she had a new outlook on her life after attending many funerals in the last few years.
She added: "I’m going to visit a different country every single month this year. In January I went to Spain, February is Rome. I also want to go to Poland, Holland and LA."
After her time on Shameless, Tina then appeared in prison drama Clink, and also became a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009.
Tina underwent a transformation which reportedly cost £50,000 which included a tummy tuck and a facelift after she lost 12 stone.
She also had a gastric band fitted and went under the knife to complete her full-body makeover.
However, she hit headlines back in December 2018 when she was sacked from a pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty after admitting to possession of cocaine and later insisted she had been set up.
Tina and her husband Paul Chase, 40, got married back in 2010 and have a nine-year-old daughter, Flame together. The couple briefly at one point in 2019 but Tina admitted that her recent facelift helped reignite the passion in their relationship.
