A disgraceful video posted on Facebook last night showing a young teenage boy pushing an elderly man to the ground has been taken off the platform.
The short and shameful clip shows a young teenage boy squaring up to an elderly man in the Newbridge area of Kildare during a heated confrontation.
It is not understood how the row started but the victim can be seen looking distressed and upset before the teenager knocks him to the ground during the broad daylight attack.
The video was posted by a user on the social media site who described it as "disgraceful carry-on".
They said: "This is disgusting behaviour of a youth pushing an elderly man to the ground in Newbridge."
The 10-second video, seen by Dublin Live, was only uploaded on the platform a couple of minutes before it was taken down obtaining thousands of views and angry comments in the process.
Dublin Live has contacted Gardai about the incident.
