A teenager has been threatened and robbed by a two thugs in Kilmarnock.
The 'shaken' 16-year-old was confronted on a cycle path near Knockintiber.
The men then stole the schoolboys yellow Carrera mountain bike with black wheels.
The incident happened around 9.30pm on Friday sparking a police investigation.
Detective Constable Neville Wright-Turner of Ayrshire CID, said: "Thankfully there has been no injuries as a result of this robbery but the young man has been left evidently shaken.
"I would ask if anyone has any information surrounding this incident that they get in contact with officers.
"Police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 3676 of Friday, 22 January, 2021."
