Hollywood star Shailene Woodley and sportsman Aaron Rodgers are engaged – according to reports and seemingly the American Football star himself.
Speculation that the 29-year-old Divergent actress and 37-year-old NFL hunk were dating only began to swirl four days ago.
But already it seems the pair are preparing to walk down the aisle to swap vows after seemingly becoming engaged.
Aaron revealed he had got down on one knee while accepting this year’s Most Valuable Player award during Saturday night’s NFL Honors.
PageSix quotes the star saying: “It’s an honor to win this award for the third time.”
He said: “2020 was definitely a crazy year, filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing memorable moments. 180 straight days of having my nose hairs scraped.”
He then added: “Playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season, I got engaged, and I played some of the best football of my career.”
He went on to thank his fiancée during the speech, but didn’t outright name who the mystery woman is.
On Wednesday, People reported that Aaron and Shailene were dating – but suggested the romance may have only been “casual”.
The new reports, however, suggest the romance is far more solid than expected – although it’s not clear how long the pair have been together.
Aaron had previously been in a relationship with race car driver Danica Patrick – but they split in July last year following a two year romance.
The couple had gushed about enjoying lockdown life together prior to their break up.
While Shailene formerly dated rugby player Ben Volavola between early 2018 and April last year – when they called time on the relationship.
