Shahrukh Khan's love for daughter Suhana is endearing, firm, wise and everything

Actor Shahrukh Khan's message for daughter Suhana, after the teaser of her debut film The Archies was out, is all over social media.

"And remember @suhanakhan2 you are never going to be perfect….but being yourself is the closest to that. Be kind and giving as an actor….the brickbats and applause is not yours to keep….the part of you that gets left behind on screen will always belong to you….u have come a long way baby….but the road to peoples heart is unending…..stride forth and make as many smile as you can. Now let there be Light….Camera and Action!," he writes on Instagram and has ended it with, "Signed Another Actor"

"Love u papa," Suhana has replied with heart emoticons.

Khan's endearment for his daughter is both sweet and strict. From giving her advice to be kind to not hold on to the applause, Khan also makes a point before his daughter that it is very important to excel in the field one is in and the road to success is never ending.

In the 85 word message, Khan has not just enclosed the happiness of a father whose child is going to make a cinematic debut in the same platform where he had also marked his professional debut, it also carries a sense of security, a feeling of warmth, the responsibility to guide and the professional manners of making a new entrant comfortable in the industry.

"...but the road to peoples heart is unending," writes Khan making it very specific to his fellow “actor” that giving a hit movie should not be the ultimate goal; to reach the heart of millions of people you should be kind, compassionate and "make as many smile as you can".

The proud father made another post on Twitter on The Archies teaser and wrote "From renting the Archie’s Digest for 25 paise per day from book rental stores to see Zoya Akhtar make this come alive on screen….is just incredible. Wishing all the little ones the best as they take their first little steps into the most beautiful of professions."

This isn't the first time, Shahrukh Khan, who has earned 14 Filmfare Awards till date along with many accolades, has openly praised his daughter for her artistic skills.

In December 2018, he had visited London to watch Suhana’s play where she essayed the role of Juliet. Suhana was a student at the Ardingly College back then. "With my Juliet in London. What a wonderful experience and exceptional performances by the whole cast. Congratulations to the whole team," he had posted on social media.

Meanwhile, The Archies movie, which has generated huge interest soon after its teaser was out, is set in the 1960s of India. “A musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves and everything young adult, it still promises to have something for every generation. The film has the iconic gang of The Archies’ at the center of it, and perfectly matches the youthful energy, hope and excitement of the sixties era,” reads a Netflix pitch for the film.

Along with Suhana Khan, the movie also stars Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda and Dot.
